We do the above really, really well. Some would say we are the best at what we do.

We have been doing this for years in an informal structure that has seen the strongest and most resilient individuals become incredible leaders.
We have taken the knowledge and structure we have developed over many years and created our inaugural Emerging Leaders Development Program- this will be launched to our first intake of participants in August 2022.
To say we are excited is an understatement!

Here is the low down – does this sound like you?
- You have an innate ambition and a drive to achieve your full potential – you may not even know what that looks like yet but you know you want to be the best at what you do
- Leadership feels natural to you – you may have been on a sporting team or have previous leadership experience at school or in another role or you just feel leadership is a natural state for you- you don’t need leadership experience to be the right fit for the program
- You have a growth mindset (if you don’t know what that is, look it up! We want only those individuals that see themselves as having a growth mindset)
Obviously there are a few non negotiables
- Physically fit and able to perform a physically demanding role
- Have a current drivers license or be able to demonstrate you are actively working towards getting your driver’s license within the next 6 – 12 months
Onto the most important part- what are offering.
Our Emerging Leaders Development Program is a 3 year program with a framework designed to cultivate leaders with universally valuable skills as leaders. We encourage our charges to take ownership of their development all the while we will lead you through the process to bring you out the other side as an amazing leader of people!
The program will see you tackle some incredible opportunities over the three years you will have your development fast tracked
- Expert leadership mentor for the duration of the program through regular weekly mentoring sessions in house
- Undertake formal qualification training in Certificate III Supply Chain and then move onto Cert IV Leadership & Management
- Internal structured training through inhouse Learning Management System
- External structured training through partnered training organisations
- Opportunity to participate in the Hire & Rental Industry Association Young Professionals Mentoring program having exposure to incredible minds in our industry
- Incorporating an Organisational Psychologist session regularly from year 2 of the program to ensure skills are developed.
- Clear tiered program with clear expectations and transparent salar earnings based on progression through the program.
At the end of the 3 year program you will be able to take on a senior leadership role within our business and beyond that an exciting career pathway will open up.

Team Leader | Onsite Events Labouring Crew

We invest in each other, the time and effort to build skills and mould and grow incredible human beings- connection and growth are two of our pillars we live by each and every day.
Our Team Leaders are an integral part of our leadership team- they control the flow of our event builds and invest in building the skills of our crews. As a Team Leader you are mentored by our senior leadership team and become mentors for our crews.
A Typical Day in the life of a Team Leader
It isn’t all roses and sunshine – we like to be completely transparent. As with any job there are good days and challenging days but depending on your outlook you will only grow from the days you are challenged!
Sometimes there are longer days when things don’t go to plan but if you can roll with adversity and see the challenges it represents and build a strong crew to support you then you will soar.
Your day will see you tackle many tasks with your crew
- Coordinating the crew to load and unload trucks with the required event hire infrastructure according to paperwork and job requirements
- Leading your crew to install and dismantle marquees & setup of equipment onsite- ensuring incredible outcomes for our clients!
- Maintenance and cleaning of hire equipment
- Support to the Senior Team Leader and Operations & Logistics Manager- you will receive endless support from your direct mentors to grow your skills and challenge you everyday!
- Liaising onsite with the client to manage expectations and deliver an impeccable finished product
- Problem solve! This is evident every day in our business!

- Forklift ticket
- NSW Driving license – able to drive small C class trucks or have an MR License

Event Crew Labourer | Marquee Builder | MR Truck Driver
South Coast Party Hire is seeking to recruit a number Labourers/ Marquee builders.

South Coast Party Hire provides beautiful marquees, tables, chairs and everything else needed to host a spectacular outdoor event such as weddings, corporate launches, major birthdays etc. We service the South Coast of NSW.
- Both Mid week and weekend work required (generous overtime and penalty rates)
- Physical hands on role (building marquees, delivering equipment, cleaning and maintenance)

The Role
This role involves a variety of tasks and duties including;
- Loading & unloading the truck with the required equipment; marquees, vinyl, tables, chairs, temporary flooring etc
- Installation and dismantling of marquees and set-up of onsite structures
- Delivery and pickup of party hire equipment
- Liaising with the customer on-site
- Cleaning and maintenance of equipment

This role would involve also taking on Cert III In Warehousing to expand your skills and knowledge whilst also learning hands on skills. All training will be done on the job and at the premises of the business.
If you are successful in the role you will commence immediately and be undertaking a Cert III in Supply Chain through an RTO with all training delivered in house and on the job.

The Role
This role involves a variety of tasks and duties including;
- Thorough cleaning & maintenance to ensure all equipment is maintained to the SCPH quality standards. This includes cleaning of chairs, tables, marquee vinyl, catering equipment etc.
- Accurately pack and prepare stock to be loaded onto trucks
- Assisting customers with pickups and returns where required
- Feeding back information on damaged products or quality control issues to Warehouse Manager
- Upholding and ensuring all OHS principles are adhered to by those in your team
